Namaste Children’s House (NCH) is a multi-denominational non-profit social organisation based in Pokhara, Nepal. It is dedicated to providing love, education, healthcare, nutrition, and a solid sense of family, community and cultural identity to the orphaned and needy children of Nepal.

NCH currently houses 69 children, varying in age from 18 months to 16 years, all arriving over the last four years from different unfortunate backgrounds. As well as being provided with a loving, clean and spacious home, the children are enrolled in school, have proper medical and dental care, a nutritious diet and well trained local staff looking after them.

NCH also runs two other programs – a scholarship program with over 65 additional children provided financial support to go to school, as well as a women’s handicraft centre.

NCH was established by director, Mr Visma Paudel in 2003 and has grown to become an important part of the Pokhara community. Mr Paudel has recently been invited to join the Nepal Social Welfare Council, in recognition of his organisation’s good work.
