Wind of Change is extremely fortunate to have received widespread support from major companies, community groups, and generous individuals. We are honoured and humbled with the response we have received thus far, and at the same time it reinforces our resolve to make sure that we follow through on what we promise, and that we become the most efficient and effective aid organisation of our size. Our other hope is that through our work both the beneficiaries we work with and the people who support us benefit from their involvement, and in some way it improves their lives and outlook on the world.

Major Corporate Partners

The organisations below have made a significant investment towards the future of children in Nepal. We would like to thank them and acknowledge their contribution.

Pitcher Partners, a major Australian accounting firm, have selected Onni Children’s House as their first international project to be supported as part of their new Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. Pitcher Partners stated that one of the key considerations of becoming involved with this project is that they believe that their 550 staff in Melbourne will be able to directly see the benefits to the community of their involvement.

They have made a long-term commitment to the project, agreeing to provide half of the initial funding to set up the house, as well as providing a significant amount of funding for the next 5 years. This deal underpins the financial viability of the project, and to be selected as the first international project in this corporate program demonstrates the professionalism and quality of our project. We are extremely grateful to Elissa Hall and other members of the CSR panel for investing their confidence in us, and giving a secure future for the children of Onni Children’s House.

Cooper Investors have made a generous and significant contribution to the care of children at Onni Children's House. Cooper Investors are a specialist equity fund manager with funds under management of approximately A$3 billion. We are delighted to have the support of the wonderful team at Cooper Investors, and thank them for helping to make it possible to take in more children to Onni House in 2009.

Coastalwatch - Big thanks to Kim Sundell and the team at Coastalwatch, who provided half the funding required to establish Onni children's House. Kim is well regarded for his involvement in philanthropic pursuits, and has a lot to offer not just in terms of financial support, but different ideas on how we can help to improve the livelihood of people in developing countries. All the surfers out there should bookmark their website, www.coastalwatch.com.au to get the latest surf & swell forecasts before you head out for a paddle!

Central Hotel Verbier - Another huge thank you must go to Jacinta Thomas who has provided significant support to Wind of Change and Onni House since the beginning. If you are ever thinking of a holiday to the Swiss Alps, Jacinta's Central Hotel in Verbier is now actively supporting Onni, so go and stay with them, have a great holiday, and support Onni at the same time! For all their sales paid in cash, Central Hotel is donating 1% to charity, and Jacinta has also pledged that for each 10 new members that join their Facebook group (Central Hotel Verbier S.A.) before March next year, 1 swiss franc will be donated our way! If you are thinking of a great overseas get away and want to find out more about Verbier and the Central Hotel, you can visit their website www.verbiercentralhotel.com

Last but not least we must acknowledge the team at PSA Project Management, particularly Paul & Noela Steinfort who have been tireless in the behind the scenes work required to get Wind of Change up and running, and have also made a sizeable financial contribution. In fact, PSA have covered a large portion of Wind of Change's running costs and take care of alot of the paperwork, allowing administrative costs to be kept to a minimum.

Individual Donors

We would also like to thank all of our individual donors who have been so generous and supportive. Your contributions and ongoing support make it possible for us to focus our efforts fully on our work in Nepal. We are proud and privileged to have such a wonderful group of people showing their care and concern for those who need it most.

Community Groups

Finally a big thank you to the following community groups who have expressed true care and concern for the children of Nepal

Mazenod College, Mulgrave, have been extremely generous in providing substantial funding to Wind of Change from their major fundraising initiative, Mission Action Day. We are greatly appreciative to the Rector, Fr Pat Moroney, and all the staff and students involved for the effort they have gone to in order to support our work.
