The Finnish Board consists of our directors Carl Steinfort & Tuuli Vikstedt, along with the following group of generous, dedicated people who each bring expertise and enthusiasm to the management and guidance of Wind of Change.
Ulla Anttila
Ulla Anttila is from Helsinki. She is a Master of Business Administration. At the moment she works for a Finnish family-owned importing company as the head of the purchasing department. During her studies and work, Ulla has spent a lot of time abroad including university studies in
Italy and working in hospitality in the
UK. Exploring the world outside
Europe, however, has made her appreciate the different cultures, peoples and customs in the world, and also realise the essential need for decent living conditions, health and education for people – especially children. By being involved in the work of Wind of Change, Ulla feels she can start to make a difference through improving the lives of the children with whom we work.
Mikko Bärlund
Mikko comes from Porvoo. He is a Bachelor of Business Administration, currently being a partner in a Finnish investment management firm. Mikko has had a lot of involvement assisting children and is dedicated to helping them. As the president of a local sport’s club in Porvoo, Mikko has had years of positive input in the health and wellbeing of some Finnish children. Now is the time to expand his reach and also become part of assisting the children of
Nepal.
Susanne Möller
Susanne is a District Court Judge from
Helsinki. Already as a young student, Susanne became a determined supporter of children’s rights. She is directly involved in the welfare of children as she now specialises in family law. Recently Susanne was working in
Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of a team of legal professionals building a free and fair legal system. Her international duties have also included implementing anti-corruption measures in Romania,
Croatia and the
Czech
Republic. With her professional expertise and more importantly her personal determination and dedication to improve the rights of children, Susanne is a key advisor in the management and future direction of Wind of Change.
Meri Vikstedt
Meri is Tuuli’s older sister and lives in Mäntsälä. She is a Podiatrist running a private clinic in
Helsinki, where she is originally from. As a mother of two, her time is mainly occupied enjoying time with the girls. Having also lived in a children’s home as a young girl, Meri is proud of her little sister and delighted to be part of the team making a difference to the lives of the Nepalese children. While Tuuli and Carl are working in
Nepal or
Australia, Meri provides invaluable assistance in responding to enquiries and handling the membership registration in
Finland.
